TIME MACHINE BAND
Time Machine Band has been playing Northeast Ohio for the last 16 years. The band is widely known for the great vocals and harmonies, pulling off many songs that don’t get heard live very often. Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen is a great example.
MARK POLANKA
GUITAR & VOCALS
The bald guy in the band is Mark Polanka, but with a body like his, who needs
hair! Polanka began playing the guitar in 1967 at the tender age of fourteen and has been playing it ever since. He studied music theory and composition at Kent State University and currently teaches in the School of Music at the University of Akron. Mark has played a variety of music over the years beginning with 60’s rock and pop.
CHRIS HENDERSON
BASS & VOCALS
Chris is the bass guitarist for Time Machine. He has been playing music since he was a mere 13 years old. A big fan of progressive rock, he has played many genres of music in a variety of bands through the years. Reading the bios of other Time Machine members, you can catch the theme that they have spent a lot of time playing music together. Other hobbies include climbing sycamores, generating pseudo-lightning, and of course, shuffleboard. Chris also holds many significant patents for the initial designs for developing ice, rubber bands, and dust bunnies. Based out of Kingsland, New Zealand, Chris spends much of his time traveling to and from the band’s stateside engagements.
JOHN GARNER
KEYBOARDS, GUITAR, VOCALS
John has adept musical talent which allows him to fluently play a multitude of instruments while also providing vocals. He concentrates on keyboards and guitar in the Time Machine forum. Like all members of the band, he has been playing throughout NE Ohio area from an early age.

Currently I am reveling in the honor of creating sonic waves with my highly accomplished pals who constitute the Time Machine musical aggregate all of whom I've had the great fortune to music-make with for decades. Respect!
